[.Snapshot.5.] Dog Days

Playing with fondant is a ridiculously fun way of procrastinating. Especially armed with the Planet Cake Cupcake book.

So, what’s been happening in life? In no particular order….
1 essay that has been almost vampiric in the amount of life it has sucked out of me.
A research proposal that’s like the conception of my baby (i.e. my thesis) – next step is getting ethics approved – I think that’s somewhat comparable to a pregnancy test.
Chasing down my supervisor to get that research proposal and ethics form finalised.
Learning to use (e.g.) and (i.e.) properly, because they don’t belong outside of parentheses.
Picking up another tutoring student, or two, or three really, because of a new job.

A couple (yes, really!) successful batches of macarons, in pandan white chocolate and passionfruit dark chocolate (I ran out of milk chocolate)
A whole bunch of cupcakes for a very important graduation.
A lot of bubbles, shooting a model, a laptop on the verge of dying, and in general, a really really really busy sort of time.

Oh. And taking out the winter blanket. Because that’s really important too.

What’s happening in your life?

Eh. I just slay people. Nothing new.
Those macarons are badass. Give the dog a knifeless cuddle for me.

good luck with honours! getting ethics approval is such a pain but nice to know you have cute dogs, fondant animals and macarons in your life still! you’re doing psychology as well aren’t you?

Love the colour of your macarons! Best of luck with your ethics approval =) I’m on the “other side” – I do the admin dirty work for those supervisors of which you speak.
