This was supposed to be a buttermilk syrup, but it must have cooked too long. I thought it might become a lovely salted caramel and poured it out that way, but it was crumbly and not chewy at all. So I’ll call it fudge, but I’m not sure that’s what it is.

It’s deliciously buttery and sweet and salty though..I keep walking past the tray and grabbing one to snack on…there aren’t many left now ;)
