Chocolate and Vanilla

I went to a wedding recently. It was a beautiful ceremony – the bride entered the church singing a duet with the groom, the happy couple’s church community and friends all gathered to celebrate, and I was introduced to the Hong Kong traditions of glass tapping (which would not stop until the bride and groom had kissed) and “Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumm SAE!” (the shout made as the bride and groom were toasted at each table). It was the former aspect of the day that was somewhat contentious between Tim and I though. I loved it (Soooo romantic…<3), he was a little uneasy, saying that while it was certainly beautiful, the traditionalist in him was wondering where the traditional wedding march was. Perhaps it is the product of the age difference between us, but I’ve always tended to be the modern one, while he tends to admire the classics and traditional. I like to explore new things, he would rather stick to the things he knows to be good. But somehow, through either vigorous debate or reluctant acquiescence on one person’s part (‘yes dear…whatever makes you happy, dear…’), we seem to reach compromises. Admittedly, they often go my way though ;)

Some of these slovak-republic.org buy viagra uk medicines are injected into your penis. You will not have to go from one hardware store to buy discount viagra another in order to ride out the present storm. Their amazing buy generic viagra http://www.slovak-republic.org/marriage/comment-page-4/ portable hookah is a combination of old style and new beauty. Be that as it usa viagra no prescription may; 100mg is affirmed as an impeccable and profoundly powerful dose.

But these chocolate babycakes here, paired with vanilla icecream, aren’t a flavour combination that blows your mind. Rather, chocolate and vanilla are the hugs which you know await at the end of a long day. Tried, tested, and true, they go together unfailingly. The rich warmth of the molten centre, against the cold creaminess of the icecream, somehow these just work, different as they may be.

And so, here’s a classic for Tim, the chocolate hug to my vanilla life. 2 years on, still walking side-by-side.
